In Python one thing you learn is how to make lists and functions. So to practice that they have you make a battleship game. Which is in fact extremely complicated. I managed to work through it after some time but it once it was completed I definitely learned a lot, coding wise and also keeping my cool when i wanted to just give up on figuring it out.
